HONORABLE MENTION DESIGN FAIR IN MIYAGI • JAPAN

The “Drop” container, whose shape and function make it look like a horizontal bottle, was inspired by the oval shape of a drop of water.
Owing to the dew-like drop pattern on its outer surface, Drop becomes an aesthetic adornment while the indispensable cap is an integral aspect of the bottle which completes the harmony of its shape.
Entering the 1995 International Design Competition in Miyagi, Japan with his Drop, the designer ranked among the top 50 selected projects worldwide. He and Drop received an honorable mention.
